Project Overview

This area is a popular tourist destination with several campsites and holiday parks. During peak holiday periods, water demand increases significantly, which can result in lower water pressure for some customers because the existing water supply does not have sufficient capacity to meet this higher demand.

Demand for water is also continuing to grow due to new housing developments and the expansion of local holiday parks.

This project will increase the capacity and resilience of the network, helping to maintain reliable water supplies and improve service for all Northumbrian Water customers in the area.
