Trimdon Environmental Improvements

Project Overview

As part of the Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP), we're planning improvements at Trimdon Sewage Treatment Works to improve the quality of the treated water returned to the local river.

This project will help reduce phosphorus levels in treated water, supporting cleaner waterways and a healthier local environment.

We're upgrading the Treatment Works by installing new equipment and improving existing systems to help remove more phosphorus and solids during the treatment process. This includes new chemical dosing kiosks and additional chemical delivery points
