Seahouses Wastewater Treatment Works Upgrade

We’re carrying out some essential repairs to the main distribution chamber at Seahouses Treatment Works. Over time, the concrete inside has worn down, with some cracks and areas where the steel underneath has become exposed. This is making the site harder to run and could lead to environmental issues if left untreated.

To keep everything running as normal while this work is carried out, we’ll install a temporary prefabricated chamber. Once that’s in place, we’ll carefully remove the damaged concrete using a high-pressure water technique and replace it with a new, durable lining.
