Low Worsall Water Pumping Station

Northumbrian Water is planning to bring the Low Worsall Raw Water Pumping Station back into regular service.

This work will help support future water supply needs linked to the exciting development of the Teesside Freeport Industrial Zone.

You can learn more about the Freeport here: www.teessidefreeport.com/about.

As part of the project, we’ll also be installing new fish and eel protection screens at the station’s intake structure.

These improvements will help safeguard local wildlife and ensure the site complies with the England and Wales Eel Regulations 2009, supporting a healthier river environment for years to come.
