Kirklevington Transfer WINEP

As part of a £5 million scheme, we will be carrying out essential work to improve the performance and flexibility of our wastewater network and wastewater treatment works in the Kirklevington area. The scheme will help to improve the water quality of these areas for the benefit of people, the environment and wildlife and ensure that critical wastewater assets continue to serve the community effectively.

Go Vocal Admin1 year ago Hello all, Important update on work in your areaAs you know Esh Stantec have been working in your area on behalf of Northumbrian Water to help improve the water quality. The team have now transferred wastewater from Kirklevington Sewage Treatment Works to Bran Sands Sewage Treatment Works (STW). A new pipeline from Kirklevington STW has been installed tapping into existing infrastructure off Green Lane. As work is nearing completion the team over the next couple of weeks will be removing the stone haul road within the Sewerage Treatment Works ready for topsoil reinstatements to begin. The compound area will remain in place until all work is complete. Monday 10 March 2025 Machinery will be transported along Ash Grove into the Sewerage Treatment Works, ready for work to begin over a 2 week period. Refuse collection will not be disrupted during our work. Typical working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, weekend working may be required.Please contact us direct if you have any questions at nwl.customer@esh.uk.com.

Go Vocal Admin1 year ago The team have now installed the valve chamber and flow meter chamber, as well as the precast units installed by Carlow concrete and lifted into position by Mammoet cranes.Core drilling to units, installation of ducts and mechanical pipework including pumps will be actioned within the coming weeks. Commencement of the installation of remaining drainage lines will also follow.Please contact us direct if you have any questions at nwl.customer@esh.uk.com.

Go Vocal Admin1 year ago As you might have noticed, we are now back on site and the team have begun installation of the temporary works to allow excavations of the valve chamber and flow meter.The reduction of stone will be complete over the next week to allow the new access track to be installed.Over the next few weeks there will be an increase in large vehicles to site while materials are delivered.
