Gunnerton Water Treatment Works Improvements

Northumbrian Water is investing more than £10 million at Gunnerton Water Treatment Works to help ensure a safe, reliable and resilient drinking water supply for customers in Gunnerton, Hexham, Tyne Valley and surrounding communities.

The improvements will modernise key parts of the treatment works and strengthen the site's ability to continue supplying high-quality drinking water for many years to come.

This investment forms part of Northumbrian Water's ongoing programme to maintain and improve essential infrastructure, helping to ensure customers continue to receive a reliable water supply in the future.
