Guisborough Storm Overflow Improvements

We're investing around £1.8 million in Guisborough to help reduce storm overflow spills from Tudor Croft and Park Lane, improving helping to protect Hutton Beck and Chapel Beck.

The improvements are expected to reduce spills by more than 80%, bringing them down to fewer than ten per year on average.

Tudor Croft: We'll create additional underground storage and improve part of the existing sewer network to help manage heavy rainfall and reduce storm overflows.

Please note: These works are not linked to any proposed housing development in the area.

Park Lane: We'll make improvements to the existing sewer network to increase storage capacity and further reduce storm overflows during heavy rainfall.
