Allendale Wastewater Treatment Works Upgrade

Starting in March 2024, we will be carrying out works at our sewage treatment works (STW) in Allendale. This work is essential and part of a £4.4 million investment project. It will ensure the STW continues to meet the needs of a growing population and that we continue to deliver a reliable and resilient wastewater service for our customers.

Estimated End Date: March 2025

Go Vocal Admin1 year ago I thought I would provide you with a quick update on what is going on with the Allendale Treatment works, as you may have noticed we have started to de-mobilise the site with the cabins going and most of the large machinery. We have temporary pipework installed to allow for turning of flows and bypass for the new inlet works, as well as the casting of the sites wide footpaths and finishings which are ongoing. We are also installing retaining wall pre-casts and the trench for the slabs has been excavated in preparation.I bet you will be pleased the works are coming to an end but I would like to thank you all for your patience while the works continued, if you have any questions you can leave a comment below or use the contact details provided to get in touch.
