It has been some time since our last update, and we would like to thank you for your patience while work has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
We are pleased to confirm that our team has now returned to site and is working hard to complete the remaining work as quickly and safely as possible.
To date we have installed 125 meters of pipework. Progress has been slower than anticipated due to a significant ingress of ground water, which has required us to revise our installation method. As a result, the works are taking longer than originally planned and we now anticipate completion by October 2026.
Over the coming weeks, the team will begin work on the pipe bridge and continue working towards the existing tank. To safely facilitate these works, 3 way traffic lights will be in place on Thinford Road, adjacent to The Old Mill, for approximately 4 weeks from the week commencing 3 August 2026.
