👋 Hello everyone,
You may be aware that we have recently been carrying out surveys in the Consett area to help us plan this project.
As part of our preparations, our partners Farrans and IGNE, working on behalf of Northumbrian Water, will be undertaking borehole and trial hole investigations across the Consett catchment area. These investigations will provide vital information about ground conditions before construction begins.
📅 When will this take place?
Monday 20 July 2026 – Friday 30 October 2026
🚧 Some of the boreholes and trial holes will be located within the highway and may require temporary traffic management measures.
