Project Update Monday 24 August 2026

Hello

Work continues to progress well on the erosion protection measures, with the southern section of the main revetment now filled and stabilised. Further work is also taking place to prepare the area for the next stages of the erosion protection works.

Chapel Row access road has also been stoned up to improve the road surface and support access to the area.

Over the coming weeks, the team will continue with the remaining preparation works before progressing with the installation of geotextile and armour rock, which will provide further protection and stability to the bankside.

We will continue to minimise disruption wherever possible and provide further updates as the project progresses, with our next update scheduled to be published after the bank holiday weekend.
