We wanted to let you know that the active sand martin colony remains within the work area, and construction activities continue to be suspended to protect this protected species and comply with environmental legislation.

Our ecology team continues to monitor the site and will advise when it is appropriate for works to recommence.

We understand this delay may be frustrating and appreciate your continued patience and understanding. We remain committed to keeping the community informed and will publish our next update as soon as a return to site date has been confirmed.
