We're pleased to share that work is continuing to progress well on site, with the team focusing on preparing the area for the erosion protection scheme.
To improve access and create a safer working surface, sand has been laid along the access road and ramp.
Two deliveries of rock have arrived on site, supporting the next phase of the project. Work has continued at the southern revetment, where rock is being carefully broken out to help create the required profile for the scheme. Additional rock has also been placed to the south of the working area to help stabilise the bankside.
This week, the team will continue preparing the site, including filling, and shaping the bankside. Further groundwork will also be carried out to enable the installation of the protective materials that form part of the erosion protection works.
