Hi everyone,
We recently wrote to you to let you know we planned to carryout work as part of our environmental program to reduce storm overflow (SO) spills and help improve the environment, which included work in the Westbourne Drive and Sedgeletch catchment area.
Details of the Works:
Surveys were completed in the form trial pit and borehole excavations at multiple locations within the woodland area near to Travers Street. However, we have since determined we need to undertake some additional investigations to allow us to confirm the most appropriate technical solution for the next phase of improvements.
Based on this we will commence further investigations on Monday, 5 January 2026, with completion expected by Monday, 26 January 2026.
