Project Update 30/06/2025

Hi everyone,

Another update after some fantastic progress on our Outfall Works.

SSO - Short Sea Outfall.

We have some small reinstatement works left to be completed on the Short Sea Outfall. The team are due to return in the coming week to carry out these works as they were unable to do so previously due to the location of the scaffolding.

The walkway and scaffolding to the top of the Short Sea Outfall has now been removed.

The compound area for the Short Sea Outfall has now been removed and the walkway has now been reopened to the public.

LSO - Long Sea Outfall. 

Works have commenced again this week on the Long Sea Outfall with both JHT (supports) and UTS (collars) both now on site. There are two lower supports to install and 1 new collar to install. Both contractors are estimated to be finished by the end of the week.

We will then have some light reinstatements to carry out in the compound and slipway areas.
