Project Update 27 August 2026

Hi everyone,

We wanted to provide an update on the work taking place in your area.

The Esh Stantec team continues to work alongside Northumbrian Water to deliver these important improvements. Our Customer Liaison Team will keep you updated throughout the project and is always happy to answer any questions. If you see us on site, please feel free to stop and have a chat.

Work is progressing well. The site compound and office have now been set up to support The Project Team and provide the facilities needed while work is underway.

We're also carrying out some early investigation work, including trial holes. This helps us better understand the ground conditions and existing underground services so we can safely plan the next stages of the project.

Preparatory work is continuing across the site as we get ready for the main construction phase. We are carefully planning these activities to keep the site safe and reduce disruption wherever possible.

🚦 Temporary two way traffic lights remain in place to help manage traffic safely while work is being carried out. We appreciate your patience and understanding and will continue to review these arrangements as the project progresses.
