Project Update 23 July 2026

Hi everyone

As part of the ground investigation works, specialist equipment is being used to understand the conditions beneath the surface.

A cable percussive drilling rig is used to collect samples of soil and rock from below ground which will be sent to the laboratory for further testing.

Dynamic probe testing is also being undertaken to assess the strength and firmness of the ground. The information gathered will help our engineers to design safe and effective solutions that are suited to the local ground conditions.
