Good morning everyone.
I hope you're well.
Following our last update, I wanted to share some positive progress made by our team.
We have now received the necessary approvals to install the final sections of the launder pipe in the river, marking another important milestone for the project. I have included an image for reference.
Before work begins, specialist ecologists will carry out environmental checks and activities to protect aquatic life within the work area. Temporary measures will also be put in place to allow the work to be completed safely.
We're currently planning to commence these works on Tuesday 1 September, with activities expected to take approximately two weeks to complete.
During this period, we ask that members of the public keep clear of the work area. We are aware that some people have recently been swimming in this section of the river and would kindly ask that they avoid the area while works are underway.
