Hi everyone,
Over the past month, the site team has continued to make strong progress across the Hesleden Pipe Bridge project. Here’s a brief update on recent activity:
What’s been happening:
Removal of temporary access routes and reinstatement at the demolished pipe bridge
Ongoing digging ahead of constructing manholes
Pre-welding of new pipework across the site ahead of drilling works
Ground preparation to support upcoming works
Drilling works:
Specialist drilling equipment has now been set up
Drilling is underway and progressing as planned
Supporting activities:
Temporary works and pumping equipment installed to support operations
Improvements to site access completed
