Hi everyone,
We are currently progressing our investment project to upgrade the existing sewer network, helping to reduce spills and improve future network resilience.
As part of this work, we would like to make you aware of some additional activities that will help us better understand our sewer network. We will be carrying out a manhole survey in the lane adjacent to the garages, just off Southfields, on 21 May 2026 between 09:30 and 13:00. The survey will involve lifting the manhole cover to verify connections.
Our survey teams from Avove and Gridmark, who will be carrying out this work on our behalf.
To enable us to complete the work efficiently, we kindly ask that you avoid parking vehicles near or over manhole covers during this time. This will ensure our teams have clear and safe access to all required areas.
Employees of Northumbrian Water, Avove, or Gridmark will not require access to your property at any time while these works are being undertaken.
