Upcoming essential works that will be carried out in your area

As part of our ongoing commitment to protect and enhance the environment by upgrading our sewer network to help reduce spills and create a more resilient Infrastructure for the future. We have appointed Northern Powergrid (NPG) to undertake this work on our behalf.

What is happening

Northern Power Grid will be working to install an Electrical Kiosk within the grass verge to the side of Gairloch Drive. The Kiosk’s main purpose is to house essential electrical equipment that aids operational control over the network. These works form an important part of our wider improvement programme and will help ensure our services continue to operate safely and efficiently.

When will the work take place

The work to be carried out by NPG is scheduled to begin on 31 March 2026 and is expected to be completed by 7 April 2026. Ahead of this, on Monday 23 March 2026, our supply partner, Avove, will complete the necessary preparation works to allow the kiosk to be installed.

What you may notice

During this period, you may see workers, vehicles, or equipment from Northern Powergrid in the area. All teams operating will carry appropriate identification and will work in accordance with the required safety and environmental standards.

We do not anticipate any interruption to your services. If this changes, we will notify you immediately.
