Hi everyone
You may be aware that we have recently been completing surveys in the Consett area to assist with the planning of the project. Prior to the main work, our partners, Farrans (& IGNE) who are working on our behalf, will be digging some boreholes and trial holes across the Consett catchment to provide vital information about ground conditions in the areas we will be constructing.
This will take place between 20th July 2026 and 30th October 2026.
Some of the boreholes and trial holes may be within the highway and will need traffic management. A separate letter will be delivered to all customers who may be directly affected by our works.
