👋 Welcome to your Community Hub page, where we'll share the latest updates about our plans to improve water quality in the River Wear and reduce the use of storm overflows in Chester-le-Street.
As part of our planning work, our partners, Farrans and Ian Farmers, will be carrying out ground investigations in the Burnthouse Bank area. This will involve digging a number of boreholes and trial holes to help us better understand local ground conditions and support the design of future improvements.
📅 This work is scheduled to take place between 13 July 2026 and 28 August 2026.
