Project Update 11 August 2026

Hi everyone

Our ground investigation work is progressing well, and we've now completed the main drilling work at our Armonside Road and Chare Bank sites. Our team will continue to return to both sites over the coming weeks to monitor groundwater levels. We'll also shortly begin ground investigation work at our next site, Hamsterley Colliery, from around 10 August 2026.

In the coming weeks, our teams will also be at Hamsterley Mill to carry out environmental and ecology surveys ahead of the proposed ground investigation work at this site. We'll continue to provide updates as the work progresses.
