Hi everyone,
We recently contacted you regarding upcoming improvement works as part of our continued investment to protect and enhance the environment. This project involves upgrading our existing sewer network to help reduce environmental spills and ensure a more resilient infrastructure for the future.
Following the completion of our investigations, we are now ready to begin construction.
Working alongside our supply partner, Avove, we will commence work on 14 July 2025, with an expected duration of approximately nine months (May 2026). The initial phase will involve establishing a site compound, which will be situated in nearby farmland off Brackenbeds Lane.
From Monday 21 July 2025 to Tuesday 3 September 2025, we will implement three-way traffic management on Pelton Lane and Brackenbeds Close to safely facilitate the work while minimising disruption to the community.
As with any construction activity, unforeseen delays may occasionally arise. However, please rest assured that we are working closely with our partners to minimise any disruption. During this time, you may notice increased activity in the area, including additional vehicles and some noise associated with the site operations. Typical working hours will be 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
