Project Update 10/04/2025
From "Slaley Improvements WINEP"
Go to the project
Good morning, everyone,
I hope you’re all well and enjoyed the weekend.
It’s been another gloriously sunny month at Slaley Treatment works and the Project is closer to completion. We now have the treatment assets commissioned and the effluent leaving the site is within the new required standard of cleanliness. Other works completed include:
- Pipework has been heated and lagged to be better resistant to cold temperatures.
- Security fencing has been installed around the site perimeter.
- The collapsed drainpipe under the lane leading to Pry Cottage has been replaced.
- Footpaths and handrails for site walkways.
- Concrete tanker bay.
- Removal of big cabins in compound.
The project will soon be coming to a close but over the next few weeks there are still some jobs to be completed, such as:
- Removal of stone car park and reinstatement of field.
- Stoning up of site road.
- Resurfacing and reinstatement of lane and verges.
- Reinstatement of stock proof fencing.
- General landscaping.
Many thanks to the residents of Slaley for you continued support.
As always, if you have any questions regarding the Project, please don’t hesitate to add a comment in the box below and a member of the Project Team will respond accordingly.
Take care,
Bethany
