Thank you to everyone who joined us for the project introduction and site visit on 6 August. It was great to meet so many people and hear your interest in both the project and the site. We really appreciate your support and engagement, and we're already looking at opportunities to hold similar events in 2027.
🚚 Work on site continues
Our teams are continuing to remove silt from the intake structures. As a result, you may notice an increase in construction vehicles on local roads. These activities are expected to continue throughout September, and we'll continue working safely and respectfully to minimise disruption wherever possible.
⚙️ Planning for the next phase
We're also making good progress on the design of the new eel screens and related infrastructure. This important stage of the project is moving forward well, and we remain on track to begin the next phase of construction in Spring 2027.
