Update about work in your area
As you know Esh Stantec working on behalf of Northumbrian Water have been carrying out essential work at our sewage treatment works in Greatham.
I’m pleased to be able to let you know that this work is now complete, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and support and appreciate that you’re likely to have experienced some disruption during the period of this essential work.
The work we have successfully completed will help to protect the environment, including Greatham Beck and watercourses downstream, by reducing the potential for spills from our site. The increased capacity provided by our work will essentially mean that we can hold much more waste and storm water on site during periods of heavy rainfall.
