Project Update 05/09/2025
From "Burn Road Sea Outfall Repairs"
Go to the project
Hello all,
All initial programmed site works were completed by the end of June 2025.
The installation of a new 600mm collar is also complete, due to the location of the work and the tides being against us, this was not possible until 15 July 2025 when the tides turned.
Extra supports along the length of the LSO (long sea outfall) will be erected.
Compound area has been reduced and from 3 September 2025 but the allocated carparking area is fenced off and closed to the public. Access for pedestrians, as previous set up, open with plenty of room for bikes, pushchairs etc.
As the tides are not great the first week in September, Esh operatives have begun removing the existing supports ready for works to commence the following week.
8-12 September installation of new supports will begin, and we expect all are installed by Wednesday 10 September. With all site works completed and full demobilisation by Friday 12 September.

Thank you for your time.
