Project Update 04/12/2025

Hi everyone,

Crews continue to install new 375mm combined sewer and new manhole on the grass verge on Hustledown Road.

Works on Pine Street are progressing, and reinstatements have been carried out to accommodate the South Stanley light switch on taking place on Saturday 6th December 2025. We will then install a new manhole and reinstate before the Christmas break. 

The combined sewer installation has progressed up Kewsick Road with work currently at the intersection of School Lane.  

All road closures will be lifted over the Christmas period and will be put back in place when we return in January. We will recommence in the following areas: 

• Keswick street up from school lane junction 
• We will open the old school yard as a compound. 
• Pine street leading to john street 
• Hustledown road works will commence in the bus stop opposite the site compound entrance.
