Project Update 03/06/2026
From "Sedgeletch Environmental Improvement"
Go to the project
Hi everyone,
We have recently installed additional flow monitors on our wastewater network in the Sedgeletch area, enhancing the monitoring already in place.
These monitors are used to measure flow rates within the network, helping us to better understand how frequently discharges occur into local waterways in line with our Environmental Permit conditions set by the Environment Agency.
The purpose of this enhanced monitoring is to collect more comprehensive data, enabling us to further strengthen our understanding of network capacity. This information is essential in informing the development of future improvement plans and models aimed at reducing storm overflow (SO) discharges and delivering environmental improvements across the Westbourne Drive and Shiney Row catchment areas.
Please be assured that the installation and operation of these additional monitors will not impact the wastewater services we provide to you, and there is no requirement for our teams to access your home.
Thank you,
The Project Team
