Hi everyone,
A little update for you on the progress of our works at Westerton Village as we near the end.
All connections and cut and caps are now complete in the village. The topsoil is now in place around the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) on the village green ready for landscapers to do their final polish and grass seed.
Mowing strips on the village hill are getting poured today and Tuesday 7th April. All main works in the village should then be finished by Friday 10th April until we return to carry out landscaping and tarmacking works.
The team have stripped out all pipework from the Reservoir, meaning it is now officially ‘retired’.
Our site cabins are due to be off hired on Wednesday 8th April when we will then be reinstating the farmers field and finishing off access to the Pumping Station.
