Improvement Works Progressing Well: 26 August 2026

Hi everyone,

Over the past two months, we have made good progress as we continue to improve the treatment works and install new equipment that will help improve safety and performance.

✅ What we've completed so far:

• improved an existing concrete area to create space for new equipment, including additional safety features.
• built two new foundations that will support important site safety facilities.
• adapted existing pipework to make room for the new equipment.
• installed around 180 metres of new water pipework through a neighbouring field. This will provide a reliable water supply for the new facilities being installed on site.
• constructed a new drainage chamber and soakaway system to help manage rainwater and surface water safely within the site.

🔨 What happens next?

Over the coming months, we will:

• deliver and install the new equipment and site safety facilities.
• complete the mechanical and electrical connections.
• test and check the new systems to ensure everything is working correctly before they are brought into service.
• extend and connect the new water supply pipework to the new equipment.
